UAE Influencer Licence 2025 Update;


If you are earning from brand collaborations, promotions or affiliate marketing, you must hold an influencer or media licence in the UAE.


Anyone creating paid content or partnerships on social media (Eg: Facebook, YouTube,TikTok, Instagram)


Be at least 18 years old and hold a UAE residency visa or partner with a licensed agency. Apply through the UAE Media Council and maintain a valid trade or freelance licence if you sell your content.


The annual fee usually ranges between AED 10,000 and 15,000 depending on activity and jurisdiction.You must renew it every year and clearly disclose paid content. Fees are set under Cabinet Resolution No. (41) of 2025 on Media Services Fees, issued by the UAE Media Council (view the document https://lnkd.in/diCExh2X)


If you share investment or crypto-related content, you must obtain a permit from the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).Non-compliance can result in fines up to AED 1 million.
